Nigerian superstar Davido has called on Tanzanian singer Juma Jux to “protect Priscilla always” during a friendly encounter in Abuja. The meeting took place when Juma Jux and his wife, Priscilla Ojo, returned to Nigeria after welcoming their son, Rakeem, in Canada on August 24.
The couple was in the capital for a performance at the Medicaid Cancer Foundation event before unexpectedly running into Davido. Offering words of encouragement, Davido congratulated them on their marriage, urging Juma Jux to look after Priscilla.
This comes as tensions escalate between Davido and Priscilla’s mother, actress Iyabo Ojo, who recently accused the singer of exploiting Mohbad’s passing for publicity–a claim revealed in a leaked WhatsApp group chat.
Davido has since unfollowed Iyabo Ojo on Instagram, highlighting ongoing family drama amidst positive celebrations.
